Choosing a Guidance System
Trimble offers 3 different displays. The TMX-2050 is the top tier display and is the only choice for advanced applications such as land leveling or implement steering. For all other applications, we recommend the GFX-350 or GFX-750, described below.
Pick a Display
Both of the GFX displays are able to handle all of the same steering and guidance options.
The GFX-350 and GFX-750 are both ISO ready and can run Trimble’s Field-IQ for application control. When using Field-IQ, the smaller GFX-350 will control fewer channels than the GFX-750. A general recommendation is to use the GFX-350 for just guidance and steering, and choose the GFX-750 for operations with application control more or when the user prefers a screen that is a little larger and easier to read.
Pick a Receiver
The receiver choice is the portion of the system that chooses what steering systems and correction sources can be used. The NAV-500 is limited on which steering systems and corrections and the NAV-900 allows all options to be available regardless of which GFX display is used.
